Estate Planning
Estate PlanningIs not just for people in their 40’s and older. If you have children that are minors, you need at the very least, Guardian’s appointed. No matter whom you are or what family relations you have, you need estate planning unless you want the State to determine your asset distribution or possibly even inherit your assets. If you have a family member with a disability, they need special needs planning. I handle a variety of estate planning matters, including planning for the distribution of an individual's property at his or her death and taking into account wills, taxes, insurance, property, and trusts so as to gain the maximum benefit of all laws, while, at the same time, carrying out the person's wishes. Included in your Estate Plan are your two durable powers of attorney, one for Assets and one for Health Care. These are two documents that will affect you while you are ALIVE, if you become incapacitated on a short-term basis or a permanent basis.
